Last updated October 2026

This is a draft. It hasn't been reviewed by an attorney yet and shouldn't be treated as final until it has.

What Recovery Streak is

Recovery Streak is a free daily check-in and accountability tool for people working on their recovery. It isn't medical care, therapy, or a crisis service, and nothing in it is medical advice. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call SAMHSA at 1-800-662-HELP (4357), or call 911 in an emergency.

Your account

One account signs you in to Recovery Streak and our sister sites, AmityConnect and RecoveryHome. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, email hello@recoverystreak.app right away.

Your information

What you enter is yours. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain what we collect, what we share, and the choices you have.

Streaks, Grace Days, and rewards

Your streak and Grace Days are worked out from your check-in history, following the rules shown in the app. Rewards are a thank-you, not payment for anything. Before sending a gift card or coin we may check your history and ask how to get it to you, and we can withhold a reward if check-ins were faked or tampered with. We may change or end the rewards program; if we do, we'll say so in the app.

Ads

Recovery Streak doesn't show ads today. If that changes, we'll update these terms first, and we'll ask your permission before any ads appear inside the app.

Using Recovery Streak fairly

Don't use the app to break the law or to harm, harass, or impersonate anyone. Don't tamper with check-ins, streaks, Grace Days, or rewards (including through our API or by changing dates), and don't try to break into, overload, or scrape the service. We can suspend accounts that do.

Ending your account

You can stop using Recovery Streak anytime and ask us to delete your account and data at hello@recoverystreak.app. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people at risk.

No warranties; limits on liability

Recovery Streak is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Recovery Streak and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll change the date at the top and tell members in the app or by email before a meaningful change takes effect. A change to how we share your health data never applies to you without your consent.
