Recovery Streak is built to be a private, honest place to track your own recovery — not a place your data gets sold, shared, or used to advertise at you. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect the email address and password you sign up with (your password is never stored directly — it's handled by our authentication provider, Supabase, using industry-standard encryption). You also choose a display name, which never has to be your real name.
What that data is used for
As you use the app, we store what you enter: daily check-ins, optional notes on a check-in, slip entries you choose to log, private reflections you write, your focus area, and which reward milestones you've unlocked or claimed. All of this exists so the app can show you your streak, your history, and your progress — it isn't used for anything else.
What we don't do
We don't run advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or ad networks in this app. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone, for any reason. We don't share your check-ins, reflections, or slip history with anyone else — your reflections in particular are private and are never shown to any other user.
Where your data lives
Recovery Streak's data is stored with Supabase, a database and authentication provider, using row-level security so your account can only ever read or write its own data. The app itself is hosted on Vercel. Both are established infrastructure providers; neither has any independent right to use your data beyond hosting it on our behalf.
Your choices
You can update your display name and focus area at any time from your profile. If you'd like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, email us and we'll take care of it — deleting your account removes your check-ins, slips, reflections, and profile information from our systems.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
